Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to wheelie-bin cleaning services provided by Jason Dawes, trading as The Village Bin Cleaning Co.
1. Services and pricing. Our services are: Monthly service: £20 per month for up to five registered household bins; One-off cleaning: £8 per bin; Cleaning dates are arranged around local council bin-collection schedules and route availability.
2. Registration and payment. Submitting a registration form does not confirm a booking. We will check your address, collection route and availability before sending a payment link. Payment must be received before cleaning takes place.
3. Customer responsibilities. Customers must ensure that booked bins are emptied by the council, clearly identifiable, left on the pavement or usual collection point, and available for cleaning after collection.
4. Bins not available. Full charges may apply if we arrive and the bin is missing, unidentifiable, or unemptied due to your error.
5. Cancellations and rescheduling. Please provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a confirmed clean.
6. Cleaning results and unsuitable bins. We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We cannot guarantee the removal of permanent staining or previous damage.
7. Delays. We may reschedule sessions due to factors beyond our control.
8. Cancellation rights and complaints. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
